Exciting news! The Greene County Tech School District now has a GCT application for smartphones and personal devices.The District has been in the design and test phase and is now ready to share the new free product with parents, students, and community members.The new application has been named, “Tech Connect.”To download the free application, follow these simple steps:
For iPhone: Go to the App Store and search for TechConnect (one word, no space) , the icon for Tech Connect is light green with the torch logo. Be sure to click “ok” to be able to receive any push notification messages the District may send.
For Android Phones: Go to the Google Play Store, search for TechConnect, (one word, no space). Be sure to click “ok” to be able to receive any push notification messages the District may send.
Tech Connect is a free application designed to provide information such as building phone numbers, lunch menus, calendar of events, and athletic schedules.There are also links to check grades on Home Access Center and pay lunch fees through EZSchoolPay.
The District will also be able to send out push messages to phones through the application.The District will not send out daily push messages, but will utilize the system to remind parents of parent teacher conferences or to provide information concerning school closings.
The Greene County Tech School District hopes this provides an additional service to the parents and community members and helps keep them informed of District activities.
