Library Catalog is web based and can be accessed from any computer.
The media center at Greene County Tech Intermediate School is set up to participate effectively in the school’s programs as it strives to meet the needs of pupils, teachers, parents, and other community members. We hope to provide materials and services most appropriate and meaningful in their growth and development as individuals.
Media Center’s Policies and Procedures:
*Students check out 1 book each week
*Students who have lost or damaged books must pay for a replacement
*Reference books, magazines, and newspapers may not be checked out
*No food or beverages
*Computers are for educational use only
*If all computers are in use, return at another time
*Students wishing to do research must clear it with the media specialist and use the online databases provided free through the Traveler Project whenever possible
Activities and Programs Sponsored by the library:
- Accelerated Reader --- AR-HomeConnect
- Battle of the Books---A voluntary reading incentive program. The purpose is to encourage students to read good books and have fun while competing with peers.
- Quiz Bowl---A quiz game that tests students on a wide variety of academic subjects.
- Book Fair---A Fall and Spring book fair each year to inspire a love of reading.

Traveler databases offer magazines, books, encyclopedias, and other resources to all Arkansas residents. Research current events, science, business, health, notable people, hobbies, and much more from your library, school, home, or office. eLibrary Science Supports the study of earth, life, physical, medical, and applied sciences providing resources K-12 and up in magazines and journals, newspapers, TV and radio transcripts, reference books, websites, images, and streaming audio/video.
World Book Kids A general reference website developed especially for young students with easy-to-read articles, thousands of illustrations, videos, comparison tools, and a wealth of engaging games and activities, including an atlas, interactive maps, flags, and over 200 games and activities.
World Book Student A research tool tailored for students in elementary & middle schools with over 40,000 encyclopedia and reference articles.
