Greene County Tech opened a brand new state of the art facility on the campus of Greene County Tech High School. A special ceremony took place before first pitch where the field was dedicated to long time baseball coach, Bruce Hunt. Coach Hunt has been the head baseball coach at GCT for 35 years. His impact on the diamond is unmatched in Arkansas baseball history, but his impact on the lives of his players is even greater. Coach Hunt believes his job is to grow young people through the game of baseball. This facility is a dream come true for this program, and to be able to call it Bruce Hunt Field forever makes it even more special. Thank you for your impact, Coach, now let’s enjoy playing here for years to come with you as our coach!
