Let's support our GOLDEN EAGLES!!!!!

From Mrs. Brandi and Mrs. Destiny's class:
Mrs. Nisha is a long time, loved sub at GCT Preschool. Today she shared with us about some of her family’s traditions and culture in India. Mrs. Nisha has lived in the United States for over 30 years, but was born in India. All of her family lives in the US now too. She earned her accounting and marketing degree in India and even taught school (5th grade) one year before moving here. She showed us pictures of the beautiful, bright clothes her family wears for celebrations, like Diwali, which is their New Year. We thought it was really cool that they celebrate with fireworks during Diwali like we do for the 4th of July.
Thank you, Mrs. Nisha, for sharing with us!

Mrs. Diana and Mrs. Aimee's class love all things Preschool!!

In Mrs. Robin and Mrs. DeDee's class, cupcakes and smiles won the week!

This week, Mrs. Amanda and Mrs. April's class learned about our feelings by reading the story, The Color Monster. It is a story about how his feelings are all jumbled up on the inside. A little girl helps the monster separate his feelings into jars. Mrs. Amanda put colored pom-poms inside the labeled cups of different types of feelings. The boys and girls closed their eyes to think about how they were feeling and then they picked the color Pom-Pom of that feeling. They each got to tell what the feeling was and why it made them feel that way.

Mrs. Tammy and Mrs. Jennifer's class is all
Smiles this week!

Mrs. Chelsea and Mrs. Jennifer read the Soapy Scientist and conducted a bubble experiment to put the book into action!
