Thursday= Stamp out Drugs, Grade Wars... 9th-Green 8th-Gold
(Hats allowed if they follow dress up day criteria.)
🎨Greene County Poster Art Contest: (winner will receive a prize)
Due to the Counseling Office by October 24th.
Posters will be judged on artistic presentation, originality, and strength of message.

✏Greene County Tech Junior High Poem/Essay Contest: (winner will receive a prize)
Due to Mrs. Nettles by October 21st.
Must include the 2022 Red Ribbon Week Theme “Celebrate Life. Live Drug Free.”
Only one entry submission per student.
Must promote a drug free lifestyle.

2nd 9 weeks rotation classes start tomorrow for 8th grade students @ GCTJHS.

Notice: We will have our annual Crisis Drill tomorrow morning @ Jr High. A letter with further information was sent home on Monday. Just trying to keep everyone informed.

GCT recognized School Board members Hardy Thompson, Lora Laubach, Curtis Hitt and Brad Snyder for their years of service to our district.

I would like to give a huge shoutout to these 2 teams from last night’s football game. Our JH Cheer and JH Dance worked extremely hard all night. Thank you ladies!

The annual Greene County Fair Livestock Banquet was held on Saturday. Greene County Tech had a great showing with many exhibitors receiving buckles and three students were awarded scholarships.

Jr. High school pictures will be taken Tuesday, September 13th. Order forms were sent home with students today.

We would like to give a huge shoutout to these hardworking FFA students. These young ladies and gentlemen work very hard and put in many hours to master their craft. Their families deserve huge applause for what they do as well. Roles were reversed today as I became the learner.





The Educational Foundation of Greene County Tech is excited to announce that Ohana Hawaiian Snow will be selling shaved ice on Friday September 9th during the football game from 6-9 pm. Half of the proceeds will benefit the Foundation.
