GCT Administration became aware of an incident where a student made some concerning comments on a school bus. Action was taken by Administration and the Greene County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating. There was no immediate danger and at no point was anyone in harm's way.
This is not related to the unsubstantiated social media rumors addressed by the GCSO this morning.
As always, safety is our top priority and we appreciate our partnership with the GCSO.
Reminder: GCT will be closed Monday, September 2nd, in observance of Labor Day. We hope you have a safe and restful holiday. #StayGoldenEagles
Thursday Refreshment tomorrow! Bring $3 for a soda & candy/chip item. Great Day To Be A Jr Eagle! 🦅

It is that time again! GOLDEN EAGLE FOOTBALL IS HERE! Below are a few reminders for parents and students to ensure we have a safe environment for all in attendance:
1. Students up to the 5th grade must be with an adult. This includes when the students go to the concession stand and/or the restroom.
2. No students will be allowed to play football or other games inside the stadium.
3. Upon entering the stadium, the students must remain there. Should they leave, they will not be allowed to re-enter.
4. For safety reasons, students will not be allowed to leave the stadium and go to the playground.
5. No students will be allowed to hang out on the south end, the visitors’ side, or the practice field. (Ohana will be on the south end of the stadium, so they can buy the shaved ice and then go back to the north end)
6. During the Jr. High games, all students must sit in the bleachers. We realize that everyone may not be able to find a seat at the High School games. However, if students want to watch the game from the hill, they must be seated.
7. Students will not be allowed to congregate on the sidewalk.
Thank you all for your support!

Great Day to be a Jr. Eagle! Week 1 is almost in the books & it has been a great week. Students enjoy taking pics a lot more than teachers. They're also easier to get together in a group than teachers are. Hope everyone has a great weekend and we'll do this thing again on Monday!

Attention Patrons: GCT Elementary School had a faulty fire alarm pull station which resulted in a response from the fire department. Elementary is back in the building and safe.
Thank you for the groups that pray for our campuses. I especially love the ribbons left on the Jr High flagpole from the groups as they pray for our kids & staff. Hope everyone has a great first day. Great Day To Be A Jr Eagle! 🦅
