Thank you to Arkansas State Trooper Todd Harris for coming to speak to the Jr High about the importance of slowing down and making good decisions for ourselves. Officer Harris spoke about driving, texting, and drug prevention.

GCT Patrons: We had a middle school student make some concerning statements and gestures in class today. At no point was anyone in harm's way. We are following our investigative protocol. This was a push notification and a Facebook post. If you did not get the push, please make sure your app is up to date.

This morning we had two reports I wanted to make you aware of:
1. We had a report of gunshots near the Primary school. We notified our SRO. He swiftly investigated and quickly reported that someone was shooting squirrels. All is clear
2. We had a JH student show us a screenshot of a generic post with language referencing pulling a fire alarm, etc. We notified our SRO and the GCSO investigated. They discovered the origin of the post and determined it was unrelated to our school district. All is clear.
