Mrs. Puckett’s 6th Grade Literacy students have spent the last few weeks enjoying a novel study together. Students spent this week completing a group project that reflects their interpretations of the main characters from the book while also analyzing many different story elements. The final project is made up of 4 separate sections that, when combined, create one comprehensive design. This assignment required students to communicate clearly, fairly delegate tasks, problem solve, and work effectively as a team. They had a lot of fun and did a phenomenal job!!

Mrs. Brasher took her 7th grade students to deliver ornaments they made in art class to the Primary School on Wednesday.

Greene County Tech was notified that gunshots were reported west of the main campus. We were in a soft lockdown where we did not allow anyone out or in the building on main campus only. Within ten minutes we were given an all clear. The campus was never in any danger.

All phones are back online and working at GCT. Thank you for your patience as we resolved this issue.

All phone lines are currently down for the entire Greene County Tech School District. We are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Congratulations to the Middle School Unified Bocce Teams!

Students in Ms. Lange's Advanced English classes in 4th, 5th, and 8th periods recently completed book clubs with classmates. They developed a reading calendar together, and they discussed the books across class periods using Flipgrid. For their end project, they selected 2 state standards to focus on and worked to create a project from a menu. Books were provided by the Educational Foundation of Greene County.
