Partner Reading in Mrs. Stricker's class ❤️❤️

GCT Patrons,
Last spring, Arkansas students in grades 3-10 took a new state test called ATLAS. This new test is now aligned to the current Arkansas grade level standards. The results are available from the state and accessible to parents via the ATLAS Students and Families Portal. https://atlasportal.org/families.html
For the current school year, students in grades K-3 have taken screener tests. These results are NOT yet available from the state, but will be accessible to parents very soon via the ATLAS Students and Families Portal. https://atlasportal.org/families.html
When you access the portal, you will use your child's 6-digit access code to obtain information on your child's test data. This code was sent home today with your child and will also be available at parent/teacher conferences. If you are unable to attend parent/teacher conferences, your child's report card and access code will be sent home next Tuesday, October 22nd.
Attached is the performance level descriptors for grades 3-10 and the K-3 screener descriptors.

Red Ribbon Week 2024

Mrs. Alison’s class for green and gold day!

Earlier this week, we kicked off our inaugural Kindergarten Walk to High School event, and it was a fantastic success! Our high school students had the chance to sign shirts for the kindergartners, fostering a meaningful connection between the ages.
We’re proud to call this event “Passing Down Eagle Pride.” It was heartwarming to see our Golden Eagles come together, creating lasting memories and impacts. Here’s to building community and pride in our school! 🦅💚💛
Huge thanks to our T-shirt sponsors for making it special: Renew Mental Health & Wellness, Stanford Co-Op, and Nutrien Ag Solutions. we would also like to thank Shaun Finch for providing the drone for this event.

We are delighted to present our inaugural “Passing Down Eagle Pride,” a unique event available to Kindergarten students at GCT Primary. What is this new tradition? It involves Kindergarten students meeting High School students on the football field to have their shirts autographed. We thank the following sponsors for donating shirts: Renew Mental Health & Wellness, Stanford Co-Op, and Nutrien Ag Solutions.
