Career Day is extra special when the students want to grow up to be like you.


Mrs. Bryant’s class has been having fun learning about their 5 senses. They drew a person without using their sense of sight, ate different types of food based on taste qualities, and ate/described a snack using their 5 senses!

“We have been studying the human body. Yesterday, we learned about the circulatory system and today we got to see a heart from a deer.”

Mrs. Lincoln’s class had a taste test while learning about our sense of taste. This is what our class thought of trying sour lemons!





Ms. Ashley’s class has been celebrating Student of the Week and birthdays! We have also been playing Feed the Cat in small groups to help students learn the number of sounds in words.





Mrs. Rebecca’s class earns money for good choices during the week. On Friday they get to spend it at the school store.





Mrs. Brinkley’s class is learning about the five senses. “ We used our sense of taste to see what we liked to eat. We had salty pretzels, sweet Hershey kisses, sour gummy worms, and bitter cocoa powder.”

We won popcorn from our Family Night Carnival, and we used it as manipulatives to count sounds in words, for Literacy, and has manipulatives in Math, to show number partners.





Today in Mrs. Herget’s class we worked on blending sounds we’ve learned to read and spell words!





Mrs. McMillon’s class finished their “Noun Town” full of people, places, and things.
