Congratulations to our GCT swim team for placing 3rd in combined team scores at the Benton meet held Thursday 1/19/23. Our Boy's 200 relay team (George Vaughn, TJ Watson, Alex Gonzalez and Jaren Wooley) placed 2nd. Our Boy's 400 relay team (George Vaughn, TJ Watson, Alex Gonzalez and Jaren Wooley) placed 1st and our Girl's 400 relay team (Mia Howe, Jada Mann, Sofia Martino and Lucy Graham) placed 2nd. Mia Howe placed 2nd in the 200 free and 100 back. TJ Watson placed 3rd in the 50 free and 100 breaststroke. TJ also set a new school record for the 50 free with a time of 23.89 seconds. This is TJ's 6th record to set this season and he currently holds all individual school records.
A huge welcome to Coach Arika Clifton on being hired to be our next senior high head volleyball coach. We are super excited to see where she takes our program. 7-12 Parent & Player Meeting Monday in the high school grand hall at 5:30 pm.
