Ms. Ballard and Ms. Foster's classes had a zoom meeting with students in Alaska! They compared Arkansas and Alaska and learned so much new information!

Students in Ms. Hannah's 2nd grade class have been learning about Native Americans in Arkansas History and measurement in math this week. So, they made Teepees today! They colored them and then went on a stick hunt to add to them. They had to make sure to collect sticks that were no longer than 5 inches. They loved using their rulers on the hunt! It turned out great.

Brook Zepecki's class showed the most growth on the STAR Reading assessment from beginning-end of year testing out of the whole 2nd grade. Every student in her room improved their scores in both reading and math! They were rewarded with a pizza party!
