
Students in Mrs. Vance's classes spent some time creating Holiday Cards for our troops. GCT will be honoring our Veterans on Friday, Nov. 10th with a program and complimentary lunch for all Veterans in attendance. The program will begin at 9:00 am.

Mrs. Woodall's classes have been spending some time writing holiday cards to our service men and women. GCT Students and staff want to thank all of our service men and women for the sacrifices they make to protect our freedom.





GCTHS students are getting ready for Veterans Day. Students are writing thank you letters to Veterans this week in English class. The letters will be distributed to Veterans at the Veterans Day program next Friday.


Sgt Burlingame's JROTC Cadets volunteered today at the Feed the Vets luncheon.

We are so proud of our Eagle Marching Band and our Directors on their 3rd place finish today in the Class 6A State Marching Band Competition. The show this year was such a fun show to watch and the music was excellent. Congratulations on a fantastic season!

The Marching Eagle Band competed at Paragould McDonalds Marching Invitational on October 21st. The band received the following awards:
Superior Rated Color Guard, Percussion and Band
Class 4A 3rd place percussion
Class 4A 3rd place Color Guard
Class 4A Outstanding Soloist-Makayla Cross
Class 4A Champions
Blue Division 4th Place Music Score
Overall 4th Place Band


The GCTHS Chamber Singers participated in the ASU Choir Invitational Festival October 24th and had the opportunity to work with award winning composer Jake Runestad.






Congratulations to the GCTHS Choir students that earned a place in the All Region Honor Choirs at competition Saturday.

The JROTC Cadets enjoyed a great evening of music provided by the Air Force Band. The highlight of the evening occured when Col Schofield AF Concert Band Director took time to speak to the Cadets during the intermission.

The Greene County Tech Marching Eagle band will be performing tonight at Paragould High School at the Region V Marching Assessment at 6:36. We would love to have a large GCT crowd to come cheer on our band! Admission is FREE!
