GCT's Trinity Hyde was honored today by the Writer's Ink club for winning the NEA writing competition last Spring. Members were so impressed with her writing skills that she was offered membership into their prestigious organization.

Yesterday I had a visit from a retired GCT staff member who wanted to remain anonymous. He/She gave me a Sonic gift card and said: "I remember how hectic the first weeks of school were and how the Labor Day Weekend was always needed. I want to do something nice for your teachers. Get them a Sonic drink on Friday before Labor Day Weekend and tell the staff to have a great weekend. They've certainly earned it."
