STUDENT INFORMATION
Sophomores, You need to restart your computers. If they are not charged, you need to charge them. If you don't have a charger, borrow one from someone who has a charger.
We will have a reward for all students who give effort on all 4 tests. To earn a reward, you just have to try. Your teachers will be taking note each day who gives good effort and who doesn't. Those who give effort, will be rewarded. Next year, those who score in all three subject areas will be rewarded with early lunch, multiple off campus lunches, a fun teachers Vs students game, and a field day. How do you score on all three subject areas you ask: You can exceed your projected growth in all three subjects (ELA, Geometry, and Biology), you can exceed growth in one subject area and score a 3 or a 4 in the other two subject areas, you can exceed growth in two subject areas and score a 3 or 4 in the third area. Those who score in two of the three subject areas will receive early lunch release and an off campus lunch.

Come check it out and see if you'd like to audition!

Juniors who showed growth on their ATLAS exams last year will have an off campus lunch on Thursday, April 24th. By Wednesday of this week, you will receive an email with a google form to complete.
If you signed up to go on the Jonesboro Vo-tech tour, come by the counselor's office to pick up a permission slip.
Also....If you did not register for next year's classes last week in your English class, come to the counselor's office this week to do that.
Color Guard Auditions will be held at the high school grand hall today through Thursday, April 17th from 3:30-5:30. Come wearing athletic clothing and shoes, and a flag will be provided. There is a $100 audition fee that will be put toward your fees for the semester. You will learn a series of short routines that include dance, flag, and weapon. Come check it out and see if you'd like to audition!
Any Student interested in being a Candy Striper at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center this summer, applications are now available in the Counselor’s office. All applications must be turned in by May 1st.
Reminder: Students please come to the office to sign in when you are late and sign out when you get checked out.

Greene County Tech High School Air Force JROTC Cadets joined Paragould HS Army JROTC respectfully, and honorably retired over 1500 flags. These flags were collected from around the local community. They were all no longer fit to fly and represent the USA.

The Crossing will be open for students to come in and take their prom pictures! Their space offers exposed brick walls and many more options that are the perfect background for capturing those special moments! The doors will be open at noon until 6pm so stop by, snap some beautiful photos, and make the most of your prom night! Spread the word!

Congrats to Amber Skibinski for being named our March Teacher of the Month. Ms. Skibinski is one of our incredible English teachers . She is an outstanding teacher and we are glad that she is at GCT.
