
Brutus was on trial in Mrs Woodall's advanced English classes for his conspiracy against Caesar. The students who are not lawyers or witnesses serve on a jury to determine if Brutus is innocent or guilty. What a fun and engaging way to learn.

Seniors, After 2nd chance breakfast, you will go out to the back of the building to board a bus to go to the job fair at the community center. We will return to the High School for the beginning of 4th period. This is an opportunity to speak to future employers about a job after high school. If you are college or career bound, you can talk about opportunities after you graduate from your college/career program. You will be there for about an hour and then we will bring you back to school. If you leave school after 2nd period and do not want to go, you may stay on campus and go to your 2nd and 3rd period classes. Area businesses are looking to hire over 500 people today. If you currently have a job, you may want to explore other job opportunities that may pay more, have better benefits, or better working conditions than your current job.

STUDENT INFORMATION
There is a sign-up sheet in the Counselor's Office for any 10th or 11th grader interested in touring VoTech at BRTC in Paragould on Wednesday, March 12th.
Friday we are planning on taking a Pep Bus to Hot Springs for the Championship game if weather permits.
**Senior High Cheer tryouts will be held Wed, March 19 with practices beginning Monday, March17. See Ms. Woods for tryout details**
Prom Tickets will go on sale on Monday, March 31st. The cost will be $20.00
GCT Elementary is looking for 5 to 8 student volunteers to help out during their Literacy Night on Tuesday, March 11. The event is from 5:30pm - 7:00pm that night. The arrival time is 5:00pm This is a great opportunity to earn Community Service Hours. If you are interested, please email Mr. Schenk.
Anyone interested in trying out for the 2025-2026 Sr. High Dance Team, please check your email and fill out the google form. Forms are due no later than Friday, March 14th. You will also need a physical form turned in by tryouts.
Juniors Attend the Paragould Possibilities Showcase, Community Center, After the ACT
UAMS applications are available in the counselor's office. Application deadline is Friday, March 21st.
Reminder: Students please come to the office to sign in when you are late and sign out when you get checked out.
SENIOR INFORMATION
Seniors will attend the Job Fair at the Community Center on Tuesday, March 11th. After 2nd chance breakfast, all Seniors will go to the back of the school to board buses to go to the Job Fair. They should return in time for the 4th period at 10:30.
Class of 2025! The senior class officers will be hosting a senior game night! It will be Friday, March 14th. From 6 to 8. There will be a dodgeball tournament in the practice gym, and multiple board games set up in the grand hall. We encourage you to invite your favorite teachers to come play board games with us. There will be snacks provided. Come and make memories with your senior class.

Seniors, If you plan to go to college and major in K-6th grade Elementary Education or K-12 Grade Physical Education, Kelly Kueter Gibson, an Assistant Professor of Elementary Education at Crowley's Ridge College in Paragould will be here on Wednesday, March 19th, during Enrichment, to speak to any students who are interested in those programs. If you are interested in becoming a teacher in the K-6 program or K-12 Physical Education program and would like to meet with Mrs. Gibson to hear more about their programs, please sign up in the Counselor's office.
SPORTS
Students: If you have an athletic pass you must have it in hand when coming to a ball game. On big game nights there will not be an admin available to testify if you are a student. Cash is not accepted at door entry but debit, credit, cash app card, google and apple pay are accepted.

Greene County Tech Bands hosted the first NEA Arkansas Marching Arts Association Competition yesterday at GCTJH! Congratulations to our own GCT Winterguard placing FIRST in class Regional A 🥇and our GCT Indoor Percussion placing second 🥈in class Scholastic B! They head to the State Championship on March 20-21st! 💚💛🦅
