Our students had a great lesson in life with the help of Teresa Branch from Workforce Development. Our students played "The Game of Life" and got a small dose of what adulthood is like: Earning a salary, paying taxes, selecting housing, paying child care, making food and clothing choices, car payments, etc. Thank you Mrs. Branch and all of the Chamber members for the effort you made to create a fun learning experience for our students.

Congratulations to our GCT Marching Eagle Band for an awesome first competition performance at the Legacy Marching Invitational! Class 5A Champions!!
The GCT Marching Eagle Band will make its debut competition performance this Saturday, September 27th at the Legacy Marching Invitational .They will perform their show "The Caterpillar" at 3:30 pm at the Bryant High School Stadium. Come out and support our GCT Marching Eagle Band!
See You at the Pole was a great way to start the morning today. Our students did a great job leading the program with their favorite Bible verses and leading the devotional groups. Thank you Mrs Wallace and Mrs Cupp for your work with our FCA and SCA groups.

Eagle Nation, A student had a medical situation in the hallway today that delayed a class change. The student is doing ok and our nurses are tending to her. Out of privacy for the student, we held our class change until we could get the student into the nurses office. When we hold students in class and delay a class change, it is common that students and parents get worried. We want our patrons to know that the safety and privacy of our students are a top priority at GCT.
