Friday, Nov. 7th, GCT High School will host one of its best days of the school year. We will be honoring our country's Veterans with our 54th Veterans Day Program. We will begin the day with a coffee bar at 8:00 am followed by an incredible program beginning at 9:00 am. We will end the day with lunch for all attendees free of charge.
We encourage you to come out and help us pay tribute to those who have bravely served our country.

Due to an issue in the Carriage Hills area, buses 30, 37, and 38 will not be running their normal routes today in the Carriage Hills area. All students who ride these buses who live in the Carriage Hills area will need to be picked up at Greene County Tech High School. A parent must be present to sign your student out with identification. Please park in the big parking lot in the back of the High School and enter through the student entrance in the back. There is no threat of harm to our schools or students, but we will not be able to complete those bus routes as normal.

We will be handing these out to them on Friday during enrichment. Please make plans to attend the meeting on Thursday in order to be placed on the list to attend the activity on Friday. If you do not attend the meeting, you will not be allowed to go.
Troupe 7614 of the International Thespian Society will be hosting Trick or Treat so Kids Can Eat every Thursday and Friday in October! Bring non-perishable food items to our booth in the Grand Hall before school and receive a special treat! All items will benefit the Little Pantry or the Backpack Program.

This event will take place on Oct. 31st so we will be collecting these items through mid-October. Troupe 7614 of the International Thespian Society will be hosting Trick or Treat so Kids Can Eat every Thursday and Friday in October! Bring non-perishable food items to our booth in the Grand Hall before school and receive a special treat! All items will benefit the Little Pantry or the Backpack Program.
The Pay it Forward Club will be collecting bags of candy as well as any other Halloween themed party favors for the upcoming Trunk or Treat event sponsored by JROTC. This event will take place on Oct. 31st so we will be collecting these items through mid-October. Other than candy, please consider donating pencils, stickers, silly jewelry like spider rings or glow in the dark things, anything that a kid might enjoy. Please drop off your items to Mr. Blake or Mrs. Niki at any time.

Teachers and Students: We will be going to 1st period during Enrichment today so that the students who will be taking ATLAS exams will know where their rooms are and they will also take the uPar Reading Assessment in that testing room. This is for 10th graders. I will send out the testing rooms early Monday morning so that you can let your first period students know where to go. They will need their laptops and have them charged. Mr. Stricker and I will come to the teachers rooms who are not here in the afternoons to let those students know where they will report.

Students must have a signed note from their parents with a working phone number. The note must be turned in to the office 1st period or for Seniors, the 1st period you have on campus.
