*All students who are checking out for the funeral will come to the Jade Eagle Rotunda with a checkout note signed by their parents. The note must have the phone number of the parent/guardian who signed the note. We will not allow phone call checkouts.

Juniors, We will have our first off campus lunch for all Juniors who scored well on last year's ATLAS Testing on Monday, November 17th. a 3 or 4 on at least 2 ATLAS tests last year or showed growth on 2 or more tests. You will be receiving a google form to choose where you want to eat lunch. We will give you a Field Trip Permission Slip that you will need to take home and get signed by your parents in the Academic Rotunda during 2nd chance breakfast today or during your lunch. You will need to return the signed form to the office by Friday, Nov. 14th.

ATLAS Testing for 10th Grade Geometry
Students will report to their Testing Room after 7th period at 12:56 pm. The testing room is the same room that you went to when we did the Upar testing.
Students have unlimited time to complete the test. Students who are not finished at 2:10 pm will go to room 610, Coach Henson's room in Tradition Hall to finish their testing.
**NOTES:
Non-Tested Students who are in Athletics, Band, and Choir, will be allowed to go to their 8th period practices at 1:00 pm.
Non-Testing Rooms:
Students will be dismissed at 2:20 to go to their 9th period class
If there is a group going on a school trip, dismiss them at the designated time on the google calendar.
Refer to the bell schedule for the remainder of the day, it will not be altered.
Bells will be turned on after all students are finished testing.
TESTING TEACHERS-
Students who are not finished after the mandatory seat time will be moved to room 610 on tradition hall.
Any student who has a computer issue and we can't get it resolved in 5 minutes will go to room 610 for testing.
You MUST start your test by or before 1:20 pm.
At 2:10 pm, send all students still testing to room 610 right away.
Once all students still testing have left, collect all testing items.

Friday, Nov. 7th, GCT High School will host one of its best days of the school year. We will be honoring our country's Veterans with our 54th Veterans Day Program. We will begin the day with a coffee bar at 8:00 am followed by an incredible program beginning at 9:00 am. We will end the day with lunch for all attendees free of charge.
We encourage you to come out and help us pay tribute to those who have bravely served our country.

Due to an issue in the Carriage Hills area, buses 30, 37, and 38 will not be running their normal routes today in the Carriage Hills area. All students who ride these buses who live in the Carriage Hills area will need to be picked up at Greene County Tech High School. A parent must be present to sign your student out with identification. Please park in the big parking lot in the back of the High School and enter through the student entrance in the back. There is no threat of harm to our schools or students, but we will not be able to complete those bus routes as normal.

Our Junior Eagle Cheer squad had a great performance at today's cheer competition.


Our HS Pay it Forward Club and JROTC students delivered Halloween bags made by the Pay it Forward Club to our friends on Courage Hall. All other candy and treats were donated to JROTC for their Trunk or Treat tonight at the Elementary gym.
