The High School PACE students participated in a contest to design a flag for the City of Paragould. These designs were turned in to the mayor and voted on by a committee. The top 3 finalists in the competition were all PACE students from GCT High School. A graphic designer will take the drawings and create digital images of them and there will be a vote to see which flag becomes the official flag for the City of Paragould. Congratulations to the finalists: 1st Place - Dash McMillon; 2nd Place: Alayna Johnson, Rylee Smith, Bree Runyon, and PK Martin; and 3rd Place: Cash Richardson and Aiden Collins.

AFJROTC Cadets performed at Westside High School drill competition over the weekend. They marched two teams, a JV and Varsity. The JV team is comprised of 1st and 2nd year cadets, the placed 4th in their division. The Varsity team is comprised of 8th - 12th Grade Cadets, they placed 6th in their division. This was the first competition they marched in and they were all outstanding. After the competition they were treated with 5 Guys Burgers and fries.

JROTC is hosting the spring blood drive on Friday, March 6th. You must be 16 years old, with parent permission, to donate blood. Sign-up in the JROTC classroom for a time slot with either Sergeant Burlingame or Sergeant Williams. JROTC will also have a table in the Jade Eagle Rotunda to sign up. Sign ups will start Monday, March 2nd.
This Friday, March 6th is the last day to register for the April ACT without late fees.

Bus riders, due to a shortage of drivers, we will combine a few routes this week on Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday. The buses that will be affected are 14, 24, 31, 34, 35, 42.
Students who ride bus 14, you will ride bus 31 home
Students who ride bus 35, will ride shuttle #27 to the Primary, and then ride bus 35. You may have to wait at the Primary for bus 35 to arrive.
Students who ride buses 24 & 42 will ride shuttle bus #27, and then ride bus 34 to the elementary.
