A member from the Construction Pre-Apprenticeship Program will be on Campus next week to talk to any Seniors who are interested in the construction industry as a career. This program gives high school seniors the chance to gain hands-on training, explore careers in construction, and earn credit hours that can apply toward an apprenticeship after graduation. Classes meet once a week and students who complete the program will receive $500 in tools that will help them get started in a career in construction. If you are interested, you will need to come to the Counselor's Office to sign up to meet with them.
Any Sophomore wanting to run for a Sophomore Class Officer position needs to go by Mrs. Oost's room, Pride 314 and sign up and pick up an application. Applications will be due no later than 3pm on Friday, September 5th.

GCT Boys and Girls High School Soccer Tryouts will be Monday August 25th from 3:30 to 4:30. Tryouts will be held at the High School Practice field. Anyone 9th-12th grader is welcome to try out!

Tickets to the AAA Benefit Football Game are $6 and can be purchased online at https://gofan.co/event/3943736 Tickets can be purchased online or with a credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, or google pay at the ticket gate. There is not a cash option to purchase tickets.
Student passes for ALL sports go on sale on Wednesday, August 20th. Student passes are $20.00 and can be purchased on the Go Fan Website.
GCT Archery Parent Meeting September 8th at 6:00 p.m. in the GCT Elementary Cafeteria. $10 fee for each archer to cover the cost of arrows.
Students, If you turn in all of your Back to School Forms to your 1st period teacher , or Mrs. Scott for our Late arriving students, you will be rewarded with an Ice Cream Bar or Ice Cream Sandwich during Enrichment on Friday, August 22nd. On Friday morning, 1st period students who qualified for the reward will be given a ticket to get an Ice Cream Bar or Sandwich. We will give students their reward during enrichment on Friday, August 22nd. If you leave prior to enrichment, you may get yours when you leave for the day.
Students, You have 48 hours to turn in your parent note, Dr. note. ets. After 48 hours, the absence will be unexcused. It is your responsibility to check to make sure your Dr. office faxed us your note. You can check your attendance in HAC.

Drivers, Just as a reminder, while on school campus, pedestrians in the crosswalk have the "Right of Way". Drivers must yield the right of way to the pedestrian. In other words, drivers must stop and allow walkers to cross the road if the walker is in a marked crosswalk.

Due to the Arena flooding this summer, Fields of Faith will relocate this year to the football field on the main campus. We will have Fields of Faith on Wednesday, October 15th. Tail gating will be on the hill next to the newer field house. It will start at 5:00pm. The rally should start at 6:30pm. We will not set up a stage on the field. So there will be no stage. We will just set up on the football field with a band and some chairs. We will only need to set up the day of October 15th. If it rains, unless the arena is finished. Our back up plan will be the multi purpose gym and the JH cafeteria for tail gating. Please email Mrs. Wallace if you have any questions.
