There will be a Color Guard Interest Meeting on Monday, March 16th at 6:00 pm in the GCT High School Community Room. Color Guard is open to all students - male or female! Experience in dance, cheer, or gymnastics is highly recommended but not required. Come enjoy free cookies and learn what it’s like to be a part of the back-to-back State Champion Color Guard team! The High School PACE students participated in a contest to design a flag for the City of Paragould. These designs were turned in to the mayor and voted on by a committee. The top 3 finalists in the competition were all PACE students from GCT High School. A graphic designer will take the drawings and create digital images of them and there will be a vote to see which flag becomes the official flag for the City of Paragould. Congratulations to the finalists: 1st Place - Dash McMillon; 2nd Place: Alayna Johnson, Rylee Smith, Bree Runyon, and PK Martin; and 3rd Place: Cash Richardson and Aiden Collins.

The High School PACE students participated in a contest to design a flag for the City of Paragould. These designs were turned in to the mayor and voted on by a committee. The top 3 finalists in the competition were all PACE students from GCT High School. A graphic designer will take the drawings and create digital images of them and there will be a vote to see which flag becomes the official flag for the City of Paragould. Congratulations to the finalists: 1st Place - Dash McMillon; 2nd Place: Alayna Johnson, Rylee Smith, Bree Runyon, and PK Martin; and 3rd Place: Cash Richardson and Aiden Collins.

Reminder: Per State Law, Cell Phones and other personal electronic devices must be turned off and stored in a backpack, in the office, a locker, or vehicle. If a phone makes noise, vibrates, or goes off while in a backpack, it will be confiscated. Per policy, any phone that is visible in a pocket, jacket, or elsewhere outside of a backpack/vehicle will be confiscated!
Students, You have 48 hours to turn in your parent note, Dr. note. etc. After 48 hours, the absence will be unexcused. It is your responsibility to check to make sure your Dr. office faxed us your note. You can check your attendance in HAC.
If you would like to try out for next year’s cheer team, please come to the office and pick up a packet. Return completed forms to Mrs Christy in the office by March 13th.
We will be collecting information for anyone interested in trying out for the Senior High Dance Team until March 13th. Please complete the attached Google Form to sign up for tryouts scheduled for March 16-19. The form must be completed by March 13th in order to receive tryout information. After the form is submitted, participants will receive a follow up email with more details about the tryout process.
