JROTC Flag Box
On Thursday, Apr 16, 2026 Greene County Technical High School was presented a flag retirement box from the Paragould High School Army JROTC. Cadets of Greene County Tech Air Force JROTC program accepted the box from Paragould cadet leadership. Paragould and GCT Superintendents and JROTC Instructors were all present at the ceremony. The box is located in front of the GCT High school campus at the base of the flagpole and is available for the public to drop-off any American Flags that are no longer serviceable and need to be retired. Thank you PSD JROTC!!

Announcement for Morning Car Line on Main Campus:
Beginning Monday (4-20-26) on the Main Campus, the lower road (yellow highlight) next to the stadium will be closed. This road is being used as a construction entrance and will be closed for the remainder of the school year. This closure will only impact morning car traffic. All morning car traffic on main campus will need to use the upper road (green highlight) for exiting. We appreciate your patience as we continue site improvements on our Main Campus.

Seniors do not have to attend school on Friday of Prom.
Juniors attending Prom will be allowed to check-out at 10:00 am
Sophomores attending Prom will be allowed to check-out at 10:26 am.
Sophomores MUST be invited to Prom by a Junior or Senior or attend by helping serve at Prom.
You must have a Prom ticket to sign out.
If you do not attend school on the day of Prom, you will not be allowed to attend Prom.
Students will sign-out in the Activity Rotunda before they leave campus. You must show your Prom ticket when you check out.
Prom tickets go on sale today in the office. Tickets are $20 each. Come at your lunch, during Enrichment, or in between classes to purchase tickets.
Students with 10 or more unexcused absences are not allowed to attend Prom.
Prom Tickets are not transferable. When you purchase Prom tickets, they can only be used by the person who purchased the ticket and their date. Both names will be added to a master list. If your name is not on the master list, you will not be allowed to leave school early nor will you be allowed to attend the dance.
The Grand March begins at 7:00 pm in the Auditorium.
Prom begins at 8:00 pm and will be held in the Grand Hall and practice gym.
Sign up your Prom date if they do not attend GCT High School or are in the 9th Grade. Out of school dates must be signed up by Friday, April 10th.

Reminder: Per State Law, Cell Phones and other personal electronic devices must be turned off and stored in a backpack, in the office, a locker, or vehicle. If a phone makes noise, vibrates, or goes off while in a backpack, it will be confiscated. Per policy, any phone that is visible in a pocket, jacket, or elsewhere outside of a backpack/vehicle will be confiscated!
Students, You have 48 hours to turn in your parent note, Dr. note. etc. After 48 hours, the absence will be unexcused. It is your responsibility to check to make sure your Dr. office faxed us your note. You can check your attendance in HAC.

ACT Bootcamp will be held tomorrow. A Google Form was emailed to all students. Only complete the form if you would like to attend Bootcamp. If you sign up, you will attend all of the subject sessions. If you have any questions, contact Mrs Roush.

Juniors who showed growth or scored a 3/4 on at least one of the three ATLAS Exams last year have earned an opportunity to have Coffee in the Courtyard from 7 Brew on Thursday, April 23rd. You will be receiving a google form to see how many students would be interested in having 7 Brew come to campus and purchase drinks and/or muffins on campus. This survey will be emailed out later this week after the drinks they will be able to offer is finalized.
Juniors who showed growth or scored a 3/4 in two of the three areas on last year's ATLAS Testing, you have earned another off campus lunch for your great work on the 2024-25 school year's ATLAS testing. We will take you to an off campus lunch at one or our local restaurants on Wednesday, April 29th.
