Good luck to our Archery Teams at the State Tournament
Congratulations to GCT Seniors Camdon Cobb and Jace Cooper. The have been awarded the A-State Scholar Scholarship. This is an additional $4000 on top of the Chancellors Scholarship they’ve already been awarded.
Congratulations to the high school choirs for earning all Superior ratings at Choral Performance Assessment. All three choirs qualified to compete at State competition in April.
Congratulations to Brie Sage. She is our Accelerated Reader of the Month and the winner of a gift card of her choice from Sonic or Shadrachs.
Students who are attending the State Tournament basketball game in Pine Bluff on Wednesday, will be dismissed from school at 1:30 pm at the high school. Students will need to sign in with Coach Thornton as your proof that you attended the game. You will be expected to be at school on Thursday.
The game Thursday night begins at 8:30 pm. Students will be able to attend school and then drive down for Thursday's game. Since the game is so late, students who attend Thursday's game will be given a late check in of 11:20 am. on Friday morning. Students will need to sign in with Coach Thornton at the game.
Saturday's game will begin at 1:30 pm.
Exceptions will be made on a case by case basis for students who ride to the game and spend the night with their family members. Parents who are spending the night with their children will need to see Coach Thornton at the game to let him know.
Congratulations to the GCT Odyssey of the Mind team on their 1st place at the OM Regionals this past weekend. Team members include:

Regional Champions: The GCT Archery Team had a great showing at Regionals. Individual honors: Katie Wenger 3rd place and Brittney Woods 4th.
Top Male Archer was Landon Jackson who placed 3rd .

Today is SRO appreciation day. We have two SRO’s here at the High School that we appreciate very much. Thank you for protecting our students and staff with your presence each day.
