Students, these interim exams are very important and will give your teachers valuable information on what you will need to work on between now and the Summative ATLAS Testing in April. At the end of 7th period today, go straight to your testing rooms. Leave all of your personal belongings in the hallway outside the classroom. Any cell phones that are found in the room will be sent to Little Rock for examination and will be returned to you when the Department of Education is finished going through it.

Emma Holmes broke the long standing 200 IM school record that was set by Sydney Adams. The new record now stands at a time of 2:25.05. Emma also beat her previous 100 Butterfly record setting her new time at 1:07.40. GCTSD will run regular bus routes on Wednesday, February 4 and will only avoid areas that are not safe for travel. Use your best judgment if your child’s bus is unable to travel to your designated bus stop. If road conditions are hazardous and you do not feel safe traveling to school, please notify the school office and let them know you will be keeping your child at home.
