Today is SRO appreciation day. We have two SRO’s here at the High School that we appreciate very much. Thank you for protecting our students and staff with your presence each day.

The high school choir classes enjoyed writing and receiving affirmations from their teammates for a Valentines Day team building activity.
Congrats to our support staff of the month winner Ms. Melissa Walker. We are so thankful for all she does for our students and staff.

Mr. Finch's students went to the Elementary today to read some books to our Little Eagles. The students, young and old, enjoyed the experience.
Congratulations to the students in Mrs. Mary Beth Jackson's class. They showed incredible gains in their STAR Reading scores this semester and were rewarded with a cold refreshing drink.

Students, GCT will utilize AMI Day #4 on Friday, February 3rd. Your teachers will be available for you from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm to answer any questions you have with your assignment via email.

Parents and Students, we will use AMI day #2 today, Feb. 1st. Teachers will be availbe to help you from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm via email, google classroom, or schoology.
Your completed work is the verification that you were present for school. Students who do not complete the work, within the given time period, will be counted absent from school for the days they didn't complete the assigned work.

Due to the increasing chance of freezing rain, GCT will dismiss early today:
PreK carline at 12:50
Kindergarten carline at 1:15
All other buildings’ carlines at 1:30
All buses will be running 1 hour 30 mins early
No after school activities
As always, safety is our top priority.
GCT will need to be dismissed early today. Early dismissal will allow the time needed to be sure all buses return safely ahead of the forecasted weather.
We want to notify our patrons as early as possible so they can make necessary arrangements, therefore, we will be sending out push notifications very soon.
PreK carline will start at 12:50

All other carlines will start at 1:30
All buses will run 1 hour and 30 minutes early...buses will line up at elementary at 1:28
All after school activities will be canceled
As always, safety is a priority. All faculty/staff can be dismissed after carlines and buses have left campus. At least one administrator will remain in the building until all buses are empty.
