We had over 100 kids level up in Lexia over the past few weeks. Reading is so important to every aspect of life. We encourage you to read at home with your children and ask them about what they read during the day.
Today we celebrated earning an "A"District Letter Grade with our amazing Greene County Tech staff.
This achievement is a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and commitment of every member of our GCT family.
We are proud of what we’ve accomplished together and even more excited about what’s ahead.
Attention: GCTSD patrons
Bus 16 was in a minor accident this afternoon. All students are safe. This bus will run its normal route. The first stop is at our GCT High School. You may pick up your student at the high school if you would like to do so.
At GCT Intermediate we are focusing on vocabulary acquisition. Each week we will share vocabulary words that our students are learning to increase their knowledge and improve their reading skills.

GCT Intermediate is extremely proud of EJ Branch. Who was honored today by Fire Chief Kyle Jackson and Mayor Josh Agee for his brave and heroic actions for a classmate who was choking. Great Job EJ!!
Parent-Teacher Conferences & School Schedule Reminder!

Our students will be collecting donations during car line drop off on Thursday morning, October 1. All funds will be donated to St. Jude's in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and our student Maddox Floyd.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved colleague and friend, Mr. Donnie Russell. He proudly served in the role of maintenance director, and was a cherished part of our community. Mr. Russell was a dedicated, loyal worker and a true GOLDEN EAGLE. He worked tirelessly, day and night, to make sure GCTSD was shining bright. We will forever be grateful for his service.
