
Due to the heavy rains, flooding, and safety of our drivers and students, there will be roads that the Greene County Tech School buses will not be able to travel on this morning, Tuesday, January 3.


All 4th, 5th, and 6th grade travel basketball games are cancelled for tonigt, January 2. This includes the boys' and girls' teams.

Today was the last student day at GCT.
School will resume on January 2nd.
We would like to wish everyone a very happy holiday.

GCTSD computer systems have been hit with a virus and or ransomware. We have lost access to computers and phones at least for the remainder of the day. We will be sending out messages throughout the day with updates. There are no safety concerns and we are working diligently to get everything back up and running.

Sophie Booth represented GCT Intermediate in the Torch Run tonigt during the Opening Ceremonies of the Unified Special Olympics State Bocce Tournament in Conway.


The Jr. High Dance Team, Cheerleaders, Football Players, and Drumline assisted our Student Council in hosting a Pep Rally for our Unified Special Olympics Bocce Team who will compete in the State Tournament this week.





Our stage is full of lost jackets, sweaters, and sweatshirts. These were all found on the play ground. Please have your student look through their things to see if anything is missing.


In honor of Veterans' Day, student council constructed a flag on the highway fence and sponsored the wall of honor where students, faculty, and staff could place pictures of their loved ones who have fought for our freedom.





Greene County Tech School District had an awesome time this morning hosting Leadership Paragould Class XXVI.
Congratulations to our Elementary Assistant Principal, Mrs. Mary Stormes, for taking home the Powerball!!





GCT Intermediate Special Olympic and Unified School Special Olympic teams competed today at the Area 1 Bowling tournament. GCT had 103 athletes competing today. Intermediate results will be posted soon with pictures.

Greene County Tech Faculty and Staff Spotlight:
Misty Drope is the Literacy Facilitator for GCT Intermediate. Mrs. Drope has been in education for 25 years and is passionate about reading and writing. She said her biggest influence in her life has been her parents. Mrs. Drope’s favorites things to do is hang out with her family and dogs and read. She says her favorite vacation spot is any beach and if she had not gone into education, she would have been a lawyer.
Kathy Faulkner is our Behavior Tech and has been in education for 23 years. She chose to go into education because she loves kids, but she was not working in education she would work full time at her church with children. Mrs. Faulkner says her biggest influence was her Grandpa. Her favorite thing to do is hike and her dream vacation is going to Ireland.
