Mr. Smith's class made their own volcanoes and watched them erupt as part of their lesson on chemical reactions.
Tomorrow, Thursday, 3/14/24, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, we will have a school dance for our 6th-grade students. Drop-offs will be around the back of the school just like the afternoon carline. Students must have pre-purchased tickets to get into the dance. They can be purchased until 3:00 pm tomorrow. Drop-offs will start at 4:50 pm. Pick-ups will be in front of the Middle School. Parents will need to enter on the east side of the main campus between the Jr. High and Bus Garage. See the attached photo for PICK UP traffic pattern. For safety reasons, do not park in the Middle School parking lot to get your student(s). Stay in a single row in front of the Middle School. Please pull up to the administrator in front of the school to pick up your student(s).
We are changing the times for 6th Grade dance for March 14th to 5-7:00 p.m. There are storms forecasted for Thursday and we want our students to be able to have a fun dance but get home safely too.

We are also hosting the Jr. High Basketball District Tournament on our main campus that evening. 2-8-24 presented a Oral Health Presentation to our GCT Middle School 6th grade students. Thank you Nurse Hobbs for coordinating this event.
Each 6th grade student was given a kit with a toothbrush, toothpaste and dental floss.
We will be having our Spring Book Fair February 9-19.
