Sixth Grade Parents and Guardians,
The Sixth Grade Carnival Dance will be held on Thursday, March 16th from 6 to 8 p.m. Students will be dropped off in the back of the school building at 6:00 p.m. Pick up will be located at the front of the building at 8:00 p.m. Parents will need to enter using the road between the Jr. High building and the Bus Shed for pick up. Please be here at 8:00 p.m. Tickets will be sold for $5.00 the week of the dance. Only GCT Sixth grade students will be allowed to attend. There will be photos and concessions available at the dance. The items will cost $1.00 each. Students are encouraged to dress casually, and they must meet the school dress code found in the handbook. Just keep in mind that students will get hot when they start dancing and will want to dress sensible for the event. If a student is riding home with another student, then he/she must bring a dated note with a parent signature to the dance that gives permission to do so.

All GCT Middle School choirs received all Division 1 - Superior ratings at Choral Performance Assessment today, which is the highest honor a choir can receive! 7th grade Treble Chorus and 7th-9th grade Encore also received Division 1 ratings in Sightreading!

Tonight, Friday, 2/10/23, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm, we will have a school dance for our 7th grade students.
Drop-offs will be around the back of the school just like afternoon car line. Students must have pre-purchased tickets to get into the dance. They can be purchased until 3:00pm today. Drop-offs will start at 5:50pm.
Pick-ups will be in the front of the Middle School. Parents need to enter on the east side of the main campus between the Jr. High and Bus Garage. See the attached photo for the PICK UP traffic pattern.
For safety reasons, do not park in the Middle School parking lot to get your student(s). Stay in a single row in front of the Middle School. Please pull up to the administrator in front of the school to pick up your student(s).
Ms. Biggs' students did an "Escape the Classroom" assignment today to review what they have learned about genetics.
