GCT Middle School is an Arkansas Gem School due to our students demonstrating a 10% growth in scores of all students. We were also recognized for having science growth in the top 10% in the state.
In accordance with Ark. Code Ann. § 6-15-2107 Arkansas Gem Schools Recognition Program celebrates outstanding results for students and recognizes schools that are leading the way in academic achievement, academic growth, and sustained improvement. Earned through data from the state accountability formula, these designations highlight the hard work of students, educators, and school leaders across Arkansas.

Today, our students are conducting a hands-on scientific lab to investigate what effect water temperature has on Skittles! 🍬💧
Students are making observations, asking questions, and using the scientific process to see how different temperatures of water affect their colorful candy. What a fun way to learn, experiment, and discover! 🧪👩🔬👨🔬

For the first time, GCT 's District Letter Grade is an "A"
That is something our entire GCT family should be incredibly proud of. A letter grade cannot capture everything that happens inside our schools, but today, that "A" gives us an opportunity to stop and recognize what our collective work is accomplishing. Thank you to our awesome patrons, students, faculty, staff, administration, and school board for your dedication and hard work. Together we are soaring!

We are excited to host our first two football games tonight and tomorrow night in our newly renovated Golden Eagle Stadium. We are about 95% complete and will be finalizing the last few details over the coming weeks. Thank you for your patience during this project, and we hope you enjoy the upgraded experience.

🪨🔬 Rocking Science in 7th Grade! 🔬🪨
Mrs. Smith’s 7th grade science students got hands-on today as they conducted a rock lab! Students worked like real scientists to determine the mass, volume, and density of different rock samples. 📏⚖️
It was a great opportunity to put their science skills to work, collect data, make observations, and see how these concepts apply to real-world objects!

Due to construction, we will need to close the lower road at the Main Campus exit. The road will be closed Thursday 8-27 and Friday 8-28.
