Tonight, 10/4/24, from 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm, we will have a school dance for our 7th-grade students. Drop-offs will be around the back of the school just like the afternoon carline. Students must have pre-purchased tickets to get into the dance. They can be purchased until 2:00 pm today. Drop-offs will start at 4:50 pm. Pick-ups will be in front of the Middle School. Parents will need to enter on the east side of the main campus between the Jr. High and Bus Garage. See the attached photo for PICK UP traffic pattern. For safety reasons, do not park in the Middle School parking lot to get your student(s). Stay in a single row in front of the Middle School. Please pull up to the administrator in front of the school to pick up your student(s).

Congratulations to these students for making the 2024-2025 Golden Eagle Pee Wee Basketball Green teams.

This past Friday, our students enjoyed watching the Sr. High Band perform part of their halftime show along with our Do Right Refreshment day. Good luck as you compete this year.

GCT Patrons,
This morning we had two reports I wanted to make you aware of:
1. We had a report of gunshots near the Primary school. We notified our SRO. He swiftly investigated and quickly reported that someone was shooting squirrels. All is clear
2. We had a JH student show us a screenshot of a generic post with language referencing pulling a fire alarm, etc. We notified our SRO and the GCSO investigated. They discovered the origin of the post and determined it was unrelated to our school district. All is clear.
We are doing some app maintenance so please keep your techconnect app updated as we will continue to send out test push notifications.

GCT Administration became aware of an incident where a student made some concerning comments on a school bus. Action was taken by Administration and the Greene County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating. There was no immediate danger and at no point was anyone in harm's way.
This is not related to the unsubstantiated social media rumors addressed by the GCSO this morning.
As always, safety is our top priority and we appreciate our partnership with the GCSO.

Congratulations!!!
