It was a big week at GCT as we gear up for the return of our teachers! We celebrated our summer workers with a cookout to thank them for their hard work all summer. Huge thanks to Chartwells for donating the fish and all the fixings! We also welcomed our newest Eagles at New Teacher Orientation—excited to see them shine in green and gold!
Middle School Open House is August 5th from 4-6. We will be distributing student class schedules, lockers, and other important information.

New Arkansas “Bell to Bell, No Cell” law bans personal electronics during the entire school day statewide — beginning with 2025–2026 school year.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved colleague and friend, Mr. Tim Dowler. He was more than just a member of our staff—he was a guiding light, a source of strength, and a cherished part of our community.
For 37 years, Mr. Dowler has poured heart, soul, and endless energy into the Greene County Tech School District. Always the hardest worker in the room-showing up early, staying late, and doing whatever it takes to support our school.
His loyalty, example, and love for people around him has left a legacy that words can’t fully capture. Mr. Dowler is a true Golden Eagle and will be greatly missed.
