Mrs. Melissa's class did some fluency reading and Tricky Word Highlighting... highlighters are awesome! And drew some Leprechauns and have our Traps ready!!

Mrs. Rebecca’s First graders read the book How to Catch a Leprechaun. They worked together in groups to build a leprechaun trap!







March is Music in Our Schools Month. We would like to highlight our Elementary Music Teachers!!

A lot of fun learning in Mrs. Melissa's class this week for Read Across America...Celebrated Dr. Seuss, learned about Mardi Gras, began learning how to read stories and seek answers, maybe even some fun Dr.Seuss crafts, blender blends, and dancing along the way!










Mrs. Shelley's class has enjoyed celebrating Dr. Seuss with Read Across America Week. We have read as many books as we can to celebrate this week.

Mrs. Kersten’s class celebrated Mardi Gras with masks, beads, jazz music, & King Cake. Our student teacher, Miss Madison, is from Louisiana, so we wanted to bring a little Louisiana to our classroom! Her last day in kindergarten is tomorrow. We will miss her!




Mrs. Rebecca’s First graders wrote a letter to Kate Nez after reading her book. They were so excited to get a letter from her!!!
