Mrs. Marci’s class celebrated earning enough brags for ten petals for on our class behavior chart! We voted on a popcorn party as a reward.



Mrs. Melissa's class celebrated the Wedding of Q & U today. Wedding vows to always give "quartz, & quarters", and never make each other "queasy", followed by a "quick" reception & dance party, and lots of "QU" activities to celebrate QU vows to always make the sound
/qu/ together in words!!










Shout-out to Erik Wright and OEM for the donation of PPE. This will come in handy during flu season. Everyone stay safe and healthy...thanks again, Erik.


Reminder: GCT will be closed on Monday, January 20th. This was a built-in flex day that is not needed for snow day make-up. See you Tuesday!!

GCTSD will continue to run modified bus routes this afternoon, Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Note: we have taken bus 14 and bus 192 off of this list. Those buses will run their normal routes.

GCTSD will use modified bus routes this afternoon. Please see attached information and note the time to pick up your student at the designated stop if your student is on a modified bus route.
We will put out more information about the bus routes for tomorrow morning soon.


Save the Date for GCT Primary Literacy Night!


GCTSD will be in session Monday, January 13th, with modified morning bus routes. Please see attachment. We will evaluate these routes tomorrow to determine if the afternoon bus routes will also be modified and send out that communication as soon as we make a determination. Be on the lookout in the morning for icy patches from potential refreezing.


Mrs. Miller's class is beginning to learn about Number Bonds... 1st steps: Understanding Part and Whole...Partner work always makes math more fun!










Mrs. Hanna Maxwell's class researched animals, then used the writing process to write animal reports!
