It was a big week at GCT as we gear up for the return of our teachers! We celebrated our summer workers with a cookout to thank them for their hard work all summer. Huge thanks to Chartwells for donating the fish and all the fixings! We also welcomed our newest Eagles at New Teacher Orientation—excited to see them shine in green and gold!

Fuel Up for Free! Arkansas schools now serve free breakfast to every student—every day!

New Arkansas “Bell to Bell, No Cell” law bans personal electronics during the entire school day statewide — beginning with 2025–2026 school year. GCT has applied the law to create our personal electronic device policy.

The GCT Preschool office will be closed for waxing today and tomorrow (5/22/25-5/23/25). You can come to the Main Primary office located at the very front of the building for any assistance or call the Primary office. Preschool Applicants: Please make sure you have an active email on file. We will be communicating with our applicants electronically throughout the summer. If you do not, please call and give us an active email to add to your file.

GCTSD is proud to recognize Mrs. Amanda Finch, Primary Principal, as our Administrator of the Year! From keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes to being the go-to person for just about everything, Mrs. Finch has gone above and beyond in every way. Whether it’s organizing, problem-solving, or simply brightening the day with a smile, she does it all with grace and excellence. Thank you, Mrs. Finch, for all that you do. You truly are amazing and we are so lucky to have you!

Mrs. Miller's class was the overall Golden Feather award for 4th quarter for showing great behavior. We earned overall the most feathers which also included the certificate award in Art, Music, Library, and Computer Lab! We celebrated with Popsicles and Chalk!! Super proud of these kids!
