Earlier this week, we kicked off our inaugural Kindergarten Walk to High School event, and it was a fantastic success! Our high school students had the chance to sign shirts for the kindergartners, fostering a meaningful connection between the ages. We’re proud to call this event “Passing Down Eagle Pride.” It was heartwarming to see our Golden Eagles come together, creating lasting memories and impacts. Here’s to building community and pride in our school! 🦅💚💛 Huge thanks to our T-shirt sponsors for making it special: Renew Mental Health & Wellness, Stanford Co-Op, and Nutrien Ag Solutions. we would also like to thank Shaun Finch for providing the drone for this event. https://youtu.be/b8pmrfQTll4?feature=shared #stayGOLDENeagles #passingdowneaglepride

GCT Patrons: We had a middle school student make some concerning statements and gestures in class today. At no point was anyone in harm's way. We are following our investigative protocol. This was a push notification and a Facebook post. If you did not get the push, please make sure your app is up to date.

GCT Patrons, This morning we had two reports I wanted to make you aware of: 1. We had a report of gunshots near the Primary school. We notified our SRO. He swiftly investigated and quickly reported that someone was shooting squirrels. All is clear 2. We had a JH student show us a screenshot of a generic post with language referencing pulling a fire alarm, etc. We notified our SRO and the GCSO investigated. They discovered the origin of the post and determined it was unrelated to our school district. All is clear. We are doing some app maintenance so please keep your techconnect app updated as we will continue to send out test push notifications.

GCT Administration became aware of an incident where a student made some concerning comments on a school bus. Action was taken by Administration and the Greene County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating. There was no immediate danger and at no point was anyone in harm's way. This is not related to the unsubstantiated social media rumors addressed by the GCSO this morning. As always, safety is our top priority and we appreciate our partnership with the GCSO.

It is that time again! GOLDEN EAGLE FOOTBALL IS HERE! Below are a few reminders for parents and students to ensure we have a safe environment for all in attendance: 1. Students up to the 5th grade must be with an adult. This includes when the students go to the concession stand and/or the restroom. 2. No students will be allowed to play football or other games inside the stadium. 3. Upon entering the stadium, the students must remain there. Should they leave, they will not be allowed to re-enter. 4. For safety reasons, students will not be allowed to leave the stadium and go to the playground. 5. No students will be allowed to hang out on the south end, the visitors’ side, or the practice field. (Ohana will be on the south end of the stadium, so they can buy the shaved ice and then go back to the north end) 6. During the Jr. High games, all students must sit in the bleachers. We realize that everyone may not be able to find a seat at the High School games. However, if students want to watch the game from the hill, they must be seated. 7. Students will not be allowed to congregate on the sidewalk. Thank you all for your support! #StayGOLDENEagles
