At GCT, we love seeing couples who not only share life together, but also share a passion for shaping young minds!These amazing pairs work side-by-side each day, supporting our students, our school, and each other. Teamwork truly makes the dream work in the classroom and at home!

It was a big week at GCT as we gear up for the return of our teachers! We celebrated our summer workers with a cookout to thank them for their hard work all summer. Huge thanks to Chartwells for donating the fish and all the fixings! We also welcomed our newest Eagles at New Teacher Orientation—excited to see them shine in green and gold!

Fuel Up for Free! Arkansas schools now serve free breakfast to every student—every day!

New Arkansas “Bell to Bell, No Cell” law bans personal electronics during the entire school day statewide — beginning with 2025–2026 school year. GCT has applied the law to create our personal electronic device policy.

GCTSD is proud to announce Jeff Brasher as our District Support Person of the Year! Jeff consistently goes above and beyond in everything he does, always ready to lend a hand wherever it’s needed. His dedication and work ethic are very much appreciated. We are incredibly thankful for all that Jeff does for our district — congratulations on this well-deserved honor!

GCTSD is proud to recognize Mrs. Amanda Finch, Primary Principal, as our Administrator of the Year! From keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes to being the go-to person for just about everything, Mrs. Finch has gone above and beyond in every way. Whether it’s organizing, problem-solving, or simply brightening the day with a smile, she does it all with grace and excellence. Thank you, Mrs. Finch, for all that you do. You truly are amazing and we are so lucky to have you!

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved colleague and friend, Mr. Tim Dowler. He was more than just a member of our staff—he was a guiding light, a source of strength, and a cherished part of our community. For 37 years, Mr. Dowler has poured heart, soul, and endless energy into the Greene County Tech School District. Always the hardest worker in the room-showing up early, staying late, and doing whatever it takes to support our school. His loyalty, example, and love for people around him has left a legacy that words can’t fully capture. GCTSD would like to give a BIG thanks to Walmart for providing goodies to our teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week!

A big shoutout to our GCT Chartwell Lunch Heroes and the incredible leadership of Ms. Kristin Gazaway and Ms. Jennifer Ring! They brighten the day of every student at Greene County Tech with a smile while serving breakfast and lunch. We're truly blessed to have them!

Hospital Wing brought a chopper out for the GCT Elementary Safety Team. The students were able to see the chopper and hear from the pilot and medic about their jobs!

GCTSD was honored to host Leadership Paragould Class of XXVIII for Education Day this morning.
