This week our students participated in the Great Kindness Challenge! We gave out some prizes to students who turned in their checklist. We had a fun week being KIND!

Thursday, January 30: Update on Community Stops:
Buses 9 (Beaver), 26 (Butterfly), 28 (Bird), and 33 (Cow) will need to be picked up at Lake Street Baptist Church at 3:40 p.m.
Bus 15 (Shark): Students that live on gravel will need to meet at Homeplace Furniture at 3:40 p.m.
Bus 16 (Grasshopper): Students who live on gravel will need to meet the bus at the intersection of your gravel road and Hwy 69 at 3:40 p.m.
If a bus comes to an area they do not feel is safe to cross, they will try to re-route. If they cannot, we will send out information about where to pick up you child through social media or by phone.

GCTSD will be using some community bus stops this afternoon due to flooding. Please be watching for further communication regarding the buses that will be impacted.
We understand that parents may need to check out their child early today due to flooding/safety concerns.

Today we celebrated being 100 days smarter and apparently we've aged a bit in the process! Happy 100 days of school!











The 100th day of school is coming up. On Tuesday, January 28th students may dress like a 100 year old to celebrate!

🦅Today the Elementary Safety Team learned how to perform the Heimlich maneuver. Thank you Nurse Nicole Babcock for helping our students. We are so proud of the safety team members! We are so happy to offer this program at our school!🦅




GCTSD will resume normal bus routes this afternoon, Wednesday, January 15, 2025. All students will be dropped off at their normal bus stops.

GCTSD will run modified bus routes in the morning, Wednesday, January 15, 2025. We will re-evaluate those routes tomorrow.
