JROTC Cadets were given the opportunity to attend the NCAA Liberty Bowl. First they were fed lunch at the pregame buffet and then assisted the Tennessee Air Guard setting up for the pregame activities. The cadets enjoyed watching the Arkansas Hogs beat the Texas Tech Red Raiders. The cadets also had front row seats for the halftime show after setting up the stage for the performance. After the game was over the cadets pushed the stage onto the field for the Liberty Bowl Championship Trophy, as well as the Game MVP.

The GCTHS Chamber Singers went on their annual Day of Service today. They sang for numerous businesses and organizations in Paragould spreading holiday cheer!

On a day that these students didn't have to attend school, they asked their Rotay Interact sponsor, Madison Ritter, if they could go Christmas Caroling. I can't be any prouder of the kids who are willing to serve others on their own time. #StayGoldenEagles

Students and Parents, Attached is the End of Semester Exemption Criteria for High School Students. Our last day of school is Friday, Dec. 20th. Students who meet all of the exemption criteria, for all classes, will be exempt from school on Dec. 19th and 20th.

JROTC is having their Annual Christmas Light Can Food Drive. Come see the lights and drop off non-perishable food items for the GCT backpack program and the Junior High School Little Pantry. The display will be on everynight, however for this Friday and Saturday night cadets and a special guest will also be collecting can goods and available for pictures. The lights will be on from 5:30 - 9:00 each night.

On Monday, December 9th Mayor Josh Agee visited the Greene County Tech Band to congratulate them on their 5A State Championship. He presented the band with a City Proclamation! That night, Arkansas State Representatives Jimmy Gazaway and Jeremy Wooldridge presented the band with a State of Arkansas Citation at their Championship Banquet!
