Homecoming Guests, The doors to the Arena will open at 12:00 today. The Homecoming Ceremony will begin at 12:45. You will enter the Arena throught the same doors you would use for an athletic event. The doors are located on the East end of the Arena.

Congraulations to the GCT PACE students on an outstanding performance at the Boat Races last week. Jackson Kidd and Jude Stewart won the distance award. Our team of Gyl Carson, Kaylee Lemmons, Hayden McCord, Alayna Johnson, Tristin Holcomb, Hannah Davis, Maddie Barber, and Kaitlyn Hall won the fastest boat award and most creative award. Gaye Smith was selected as the High School Staff Member of the Month for August/September. Below are some of the things that staff and students had to say about Mrs. Gaye. -Gaye is one of the sweetest people and her job is very big. GCT History Teacher, Mr. John Hantke was selected as the High School Teacher of the Month for August/September. Below are some of the things that Mr. Hantke's students had to say about him. -I nominated this teacher because of the fact that he is understanding fun and just a person I love being around. -This teacher helped me through doing my work and he made us feel like kids and he is also firm when he wants to be. -He makes everyone feel at home and I love the atmosphere he creates in any room. GCTHS was well represented at the NEA District Fair Youth Talent Contest last night. Senior Emmi Thompson took home top honors in the Vocal Solo category as well as overall Grand Champion. Landon Davis and Brayden Smith gave incredible performances as well.
