Congratulations goes to JROTC Cadets for receiving the highest rating of Exceeds Standards during their Headquarters Inspection. Some comments that were given included "the marching team was the best seen to date, as well some components were the best ever seen by the Inspector. Cadets Maryanna Erwin, Hannah Zolman and Andres Gurdian were all recognized as Top Performers. The cadets are now in the running for a distinguished unit against over 800 schools around the world.

Pay it Forward Club Members:
We are making Christmas cookies with the students on Courage Hall this Friday, December 6th, during 8th period enrichment. We will also be traveling to the Primary in the next week or two to initiate our first Annual Pay it Forward PLAYS it Forward project where we mentor our Little Eagles during their recess activities. We will need approximately 20-25 students for each of these events. We have put a sign-up sheet on our Google Classroom page, so please go on there and sign up if you are interested. This is first come, first serve only for the first 20-25 students to sign up. If you are not on the list, you will not be permitted to participate in these activities.
The National Honor Society will be shopping for our Christmas Child Adoption Project on Wednesday, Dec. 11th. Meet at Walmart at 4:00 on the Pharmacy side.
We will wrap the gifts on Thursday, Dec. 12th in Mrs. Massey's room. Members may attend either or both service opportunities.

Mrs Ritter's Students in Geometry had fun discovering the Triangle Inequality Theorem today. Pieces of linguine represented sides of a triangle as they learned what combination of numbers would create triangles.

AFJROTC Cadets along with Paragould HS Cadets spent Veteran's Day supporting Veteran's in Greene and Clay Counties. The day began in Paragould where they performed Color Guard and visited with Veterans. GCT Cadets also performed at Hoxie School District Veteran' Day Program. The day ended at Rector Veteran's Museum, Cadets from both schools took part in the Soldier's Cross and POW/MIA Table ceremonies. They greeted Veterans and spent some time meeting State Representative Jeremy Wooldridge .
